First Quarter

Following on from a New Moon phase, we move into the First Quarter moon. The First Quarter moon phase is when half the moon’s face is lit up; which side depends on where you are located in the world.

It is also referred to as a ‘Waxing’ Lunar Phase, meaning ‘getting bigger.’ (As seen below)

Spiritually, the First Quarter moon is a time of action and a time to commit moving forward towards your goals. With this moon phase comes a huge surge of energy and inspiration; we are moving closer to the Full Moon and this is a time to embrace your passions.

The Power of Gratitude:

Before we welcome in new blessings and become abundant with happiness, we first have to practice Gratitude. Once we become grateful for what we have, then the Universe will send us more and more blessings and joy.

Why not practice the Art of Gratitude with a simple but effective ‘Gratitude Journal’; a tool you can use for 5 minutes in the morning and 5 minutes in the evening.

Protection:

As the First Quarter is a time to embrace our passions and feel inspired by with world around us, we feel a surge of energy to move forward with our dreams. However, sometimes this energy is not welcomed by others and we all need a little extra protection from negativity, most especially from those Energy Vampires!

This simple spell is the perfect way to feel protected and grounded everyday.

Find Your Energy:

Even after all the coffee and sunshine, we can still feel a little deflated and it can be hard to keep up the motivation when dreams take a little longer to come into fruition. This simple but effective spray is the perfect way to bring you a boost of energy and magic when you need it!
